The Department of State has posted the visa bulletin for December 2018.
EB-1 Priority Workers final action date is now July 17, 2017 for all nationals, except those born in India and China who now have a cutoff date of September 1, 2016. EB-2 and EB-3 is current (no backlog) for all nationals, except those born in India who have a cutoff date of April 1, 2009 (EB-2) and March 1, 2009 (EB-3) AND those born in China who now have a cutoff date of July 1, 2015 (EB-2) and June 8, 2015UN15 (EB-3).
However, the USCIS has advised that it will accept adjustment of status applications in November for family-based petitions and employment-based petitions for those with priority dates before the listed cutoff date in the filing dates chart. This cutoff dates in this chart are far ahead so many applicants can apply for adjustment of status faster. Be sure to check the filing dates chart to see if you are eligible for adjustment of status.
