H-1B Visa Count for 5/20/2011

USCIS updated its count of FY2012 cap-subject H-1B petitions and advanced degree cap-exempt petitions receipted. As of 5/20/11, approximately 12,300 H-1B cap-subject petitions were receipted, which means approximately 52,700 H-1B visas are available. USCIS has receipted 8,500 H-1B petitions for aliens with advanced degrees, leaving approximately 11,500 advanced degree H-1B visas available.
