The Department of State has posted the visa bulletin for January 2019.
EB-1 Priority Workers final action date is now October 1, 2017 for all nationals, except those born in India and China who now have a cutoff date of December 15, 2016. EB-2 and EB-3 is current (no backlog) for all nationals, except those born in India who stillhave a cutoff date of April 1, 2009 (EB-2) and March 1, 2009 (EB-3) AND those born in China who now have a cutoff date of August 1, 2015 (EB-2) and June 8, 2015 (EB-3).
However, the USCIS has advised that it will accept adjustment of status (I-485) applications in January for family-based petitions and employment-based petitions for those with priority dates before the listed cutoff date in the filing dates chart, which is considerably ahead of the final action chart in most cases.
