VSC – Error on EAD Cards Produced in December 2007

The Vermont Service Center (VSC) just reported a clerical error on approximately 3,500 EAD cards produced at the VSC. Please be advised of the following errors:

Cards produced on 12/16/08 – gave an end validity date of 2/5/2010, instead of 7/5/2010;

Cards produced on 12/31/08 – gave an end validity date of 1/5/2010, instead of 7/5/2010.

Please Note: The VSC is aware of this error and is currently in the process of producing a letter to all affected applicants. Please be advised that applicants should be receiving a letter within the next two weeks advising them of their next steps. There is no need to inquire further with the Service at this time.
