Maia graduated with distinction from Texas State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. Her academic background, combined with her leadership experience and interest in the legal field, provides her with a strong foundation for supporting both the firm’s attorneys and its clients.

At Badmus & Associates, Maia plays an important role in keeping the firm’s internal operations organized and efficient. Her responsibilities include document management, data entry and management, updating case materials, and assisting with client communications to ensure clients remain informed throughout their immigration matters. Her attention to detail and proactive approach allow her to manage multiple responsibilities with accuracy and professionalism.

Maia’s leadership extends beyond her professional role. During her time at Texas State University, she served as President of the Black Student Alliance and Vice President of the Black President’s Council. In these positions, she led initiatives focused on community engagement, diversity, collaboration, and student advocacy while working closely with organizations across the university.
